| No, we use only quality suede and top grain leather for our chaps and chinks. |

| WHAT ARE CHINKS AND HOW SHOULD THEY BE WORN? |
|
| Chinks are shorter than chaps (falling just below the knee) and were designed to protect cowboys legs as they go about working on the ranch. Many of our customers wear chinks for leg protection while trail riding and making hay as well. Chinks are fastened just below the belt line and should fall below the knee, about 1/2 way to the ankle. What purpose do chinks serve for the littlest buckaroo? Well, they sure save the those little knees from scrapes when learning to crawl and of course they are just to adorable to resist. |

| Cutter chaps are full length chaps with fringe. These chaps are fastened with straps and snaps around the thigh. These chaps also make good chaps for full leg protection during trail rides. They are shorter in length than show chaps, which enables you to walk in them without having to turn them up. |

| We make Hay or Farrier chaps for people who want to protect their legs while working. They are made of suede with leg straps. Pockets are also available. Please contact us to custom order a pair in your size. See the comments on NEWS & NOTES page. |

NO, WE WORK OUT OF OUR HOME. WE ATTEND TRADE SHOWS WHEN POSSIBLE. .
YOU MAY VIEW OUR CHAPS AT SCIOTO OUTFITTERS BOOTH THROUGH THE QUARTER HORSE CONGRESS.
WHAT IF THE CHAPS DON'T FIT?
IF THEY ARE CUSTOM ORDER CHAPS THEY SHOULD BE MADE TO YOUR SPECIFICATION, SO BE CAREFUL ABOUT YOUR MEASURING. WE WILL TRY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. BUT CAN NOT RETURN SPECIAL ORDERS IF THEY MATCH THE MEASUREMENTS YOU SENT US.
FOR INSTOCK ITEMS CALL FOR A RETURN APPROVAL AND WE WILL FIND A PAIR THAT DO FIT. ALL RETURNS MUST BE APPROVED AND IN NEW CONDITION.
WHAT IF MY CHILD OUTGROWS THEIR CHAPS AROUND THE WAIST?
We will be happy to send a larger back belt for the cost of shipping. Just contact us.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET CUSTOM CHAPS?
We try to get our custom orders shipped in four weeks. This depends on several factors such as time of year, # of custom orders ahead of yours, and if we have your leather choice in stock. We will give you a time estimate at the time of your order.
HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY CHAPS?
In stock orders will be shipped on the day 100% payment is received for your order.
ON CUSTOM ORDERS WE ACCEPT 50% DOWN AT TIME OF ORDER, THE REMAINDER IS DUE BEFORE SHIPPING.
AT PRESENT WE ARE ACCEPTING CHECKS , MONEY ORDER AND CASHIERS CHECK or you may use Credit cards through PayPal. For Credit orders please contact us so we may set the billing up for you.
